Hi. I’m Wanda. I have a penchant and passion for all things Latin and believe life is too short not to do what you love, where you love.
Travel floats my boat and snow sinks it. I’ve spent time writing in Mexico for inspiration and to escape the frozen landscapes of Alberta.
My creative proclivities are writing, painting, taking pictures, cooking, (Latin) dancing, and occasionally singing (but not dancing) in the shower. I think I get my sense of humour from the Brits – my mum’s side of the family, and my melodrama from my dad’s French roots.
I’m the author of The Cuban Chronicles, my first travel memoir about a single, untamed woman wandering Cuba alone and unchaperoned.
Success is not to be pursued; it’s to be attracted by the person you become.
